Tesamorelin

Tesamorelin is a synthetic analog of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH 1-44), developed to stimulate the pituitary gland to produce endogenous growth hormone (GH). It is FDA-approved for treating HIV-associated lipodystrophy, where it effectively reduces visceral abdominal fat (VAT) — making it one of the few peptides with clinical validation for fat loss and metabolic improvement.

Beyond its medical use, Tesamorelin has gained popularity in longevity, body recomposition, and performance medicine due to its potent GH-releasing effects, preservation of lean mass, and low risk of desensitization.
